Our Story

Our owner, Ashley Kates has over a decade of experience in the fitness industry as a personal trainer, nutritionist, national level figure competitor, and coach.

After becoming a mother, experiencing postpartum depression/anxiety and an autoimmune disease (Hashimotos), Ashley discovered a massive hole in the fitness industry with ads and programs creating disordered eating and body dysmorphia ignoring the issues surrounding women's health.

Mom+me Strong is a women's-only fitness facility that specializes in understanding the very real symptoms and problems women face hormonally, mentally, and physically delivering life-changing, results-driven programs with a "everyone is welcome" culture unlike any other.

Since opening our doors two days before the Covid Pandemic shut the world down, we have consistently worked to improve our quality of service and develop an expert team of women driven to empower the women in our community here in Lexington, SC.
